Jefferson Barracks MO
Telegraph Road exit off of I-270 north to Kingston to South Broadway in St. Louis, Missouri.
Home of the 38th Infantry formed in 1 October 1866 at Jefferson Barracks Missouri. From 1866 to 1869 the 38th primarily provided security for the building of railroads in the southwest.

Bald Knob Cross
An interdenominational, national symbol of faith in God, this 111 foot tall Cross, when illuminated at night, can be seen over an area of 7,500 square miles atop the most prominent elevation in the Southern Illinois Ozarks. Located between interstates 24 - 55 and 57 in Southern Ill.
From Ill 127 at Alto Pass, take exit for Bald Knob. Then follow the signs for four miles to Bald Knob Cross.
The last four miles are a scenic wilderness.
